Yes, BRITE is cruelty free.
BRITE strives to make high-performing, eco-friendly, and ethical hair care and colouring products. BRITE is owned by The Department of Brands, which also carries haircare and skincare brands BAR NONE (another cruelty free and vegan brand!), KYN, and Spot Medic.
On their homepage, BRITE declares, “At BRITE, we partner with ethical factories that take care of the people they employ. We are accredited by PETA and do not test on animals. We work with family owned factories. We hope we make your world a little BRITER everyday.”
BRITE’s FAQs section goes into detail about how they are an animal-friendly company:
“Do you test on animals?
We love animals so we don’t test our products on them. We are PETA certified, we’ve never tested on animals and never will, and we don’t work with companies who do.
I’m vegan, can I use your products?
Absolutely, all of our products are 100% vegan friendly. We don’t use any animal products.”
As mentioned earlier, BRITE is accredited by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). They can be found on the non-profit’s Beauty Without Bunnies online list. Similarly, PETA certifies that all their products are vegan and do not include raw ingredients taken from animals such as stearic acid, biotin, and lanolin. The hair brand even makes use of the PETA logo on all their packaging to make it easier for cruelty free and vegan consumers to support their products.
Show your support for this animal-friendly brand by purchasing products from their website or from their retailers throughout Australia and the USA. Better yet, check out our extensive lists of cruelty free and vegan household, cosmetic, hair care, and skin care brands that you can support!
