About the shelter

Established July 2012, Animal Rescue Tablelands Inc. is a privately run volunteer group that offers services for abused, neglected, and surrendered pets.

It works with a team of dedicated veterinarians who assesses and treats the rescued animals before they are sent off to their respective foster homes. The foster carers provide basic training to enhance the dog or cat’s skills and help them become adoptable pets.

Animal Rescue Tablelands Inc. is always in need of foster carers who are willing to cover the food and shelter of the rescued animals until they are turned over to their fur-ever homes. They also do interstate adoptions to make sure that each rescued animal becomes a part of a family they truly deserve. They also accept every donation that comes their way to help with the daily needs of their rescued animals.

Mission

• The mission of Animal Rescue Tablelands Inc. is to rescue as many animals as they can from abuse and neglect, and provide them with the necessary vaccinations and health care.
• To help reduce the number of unwanted pets in their community, they desex and microchip all of their rescued animals.
• It is also the organisation’s desire to find only the best and perfect loving homes for these animals across Australia.

How you can help

If you are willing to adopt animals from their care, you’ll be happy to know that Animal Rescue Tablelands Inc.’s adoption fee covers the entire vet work cost. This means that your furry friend has undergone standard veterinary check-ups and vaccinations which include flea, tick, and worming treatments, as well as desexing and microchipping procedures.
