About the shelter
Short for All Breeds Canine Rescue Inc., ABC Rescue is a Brisbane-based dog rescue group. They place all their rescue dogs into loving foster homes and maintain a healthy and responsible management plan dedicated to these rescued canines.
At ABC Rescue, they practice fostering where families choose to open their hearts and homes to a furry friend. They want to give families this unique and rewarding experience, caring for a dog in need while it waits for its new family.
ABC Rescue makes it their top priority to provide each dog with a healthy and loving home the moment it arrives in their care. They have dedicated foster carers that help the canine adjust to its new life while the team prepares all the necessary documents.
All the animals that are rescued are desexed to prevent the increase of unwanted puppies. ABC Rescue make sure that the health, temperament, and interests of the animals are properly assessed, so that they can match each dog with the most compatible adopters.
Mission
- ABC Rescue provides rescue dogs with the happiness and care that they deserve by focusing on an effective and responsible management plan designed to ensure that displaced dogs find foster homes.
- They aim to educate the community and provide knowledge about responsible ownership, which includes advice to anyone looking to foster or adopt.
