Is Vegan Tree Owl Cruelty Free?

Yes, Vegan Tree Owl is cruelty free.

Founded in 2011, Vegan Tree Owl manufactures natural soap and skin care products in Victoria, Australia. It was developed after its owners decided to go vegan and found it challenging to find vegan-friendly options in their remote area. Now distributed to over 150 countries, the Vegan Tree Owl’s handmade collection currently sells palm oil-free soaps, lip balms, body lotions and butters, hand creams and sanitisers, essential oils, fragrances, and air fresheners.

On their website, Vegan Tree Owl proudly states that they are a 100% cruelty free business. They share, “None of our products are tested on animals or contain ingredients from suppliers who test on animals. We believe in a cruelty free world and therefore do not use any animal by-products. We understand that this may limit our profitability in some business sectors, but we just don’t care!

Vegan Tree Owl products are accredited by Choose Cruelty Free (CCF) and also certified Vegan and Cruelty Free by PETA.

All Vegan Tree Owl products:

  • Are 100% Cruelty Free
  • DO NOT contain animal by-products
  • Are NOT tested on animals”

As of writing, Vegan Tree Owl is still found on CCF’s list of cruelty free brands. However, it is indicated as a brand that is not a CCF license holder. On the other hand, it is still found on PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies list as a certified cruelty free and vegan brand. Thus, it features PETA’s logo on its website.
