Yes, SQIN skincare is cruelty free.
Founded by Hannah Cashmore in 2018, SQIN skincare is a vegan and cruelty-free skincare collection made from active, medical grade ingredients. The brand’s skincare collection includes cleanser, moisturiser, and sunblock that target various skin concerns: acne, ageing, pigmentation, and dryness.
On their About page, SQIN skincare shares that all their products do not contain animal-derived ingredients and by-products, nor are they tested on animals. Though they do not get into detail regarding their certifications on their website, they are actually certified cruelty free by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). You can find SQIN skincare on PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies online list as a brand that features the Beauty Without Bunnies logo. Additionally, the program reveals that all of its products are vegan.
SQIN skincare is considered both cruelty free and vegan for meeting two requirements set by PETA:
“Global animal test-free recognizes companies and brands that have verified that they and their suppliers do not conduct, commission, pay for, or allow any tests on animals for their ingredients, formulations, or finished products anywhere in the world and that they will never do so in the future.

To be considered ‘cruelty-free’ under PETA’s Global Beauty Without Bunnies program, a company must not only ban animal tests but also refuse to use any animal-derived ingredients, such as honey, beeswax, or carmine, in its products.”
