Yes, In Essence is cruelty free.
In Essence is an Australian brand that is “dedicated to delivering holistic health and wellbeing solutions through the power of pure essential oils.” Their products include 147 essential oils, vaporisers and diffusers, roll ons, carrier and massage oils, gift packs and bundles, and accessories. The co-founders, Suzanne Fahey and Judith White, were initially focused on teaching Aussie women how to transform their health and well-being through natural ways.
A part of the Heritage Brand, In Essence’s sister beauty brands include Australis Cosmetics, Innoxa, Luma, Skin Republic, Uber by LeTan, LeTan Classic, and Cedel. In Essence is known for carrying cruelty free as well as vegan products, and as such, it proudly displays the Choose Cruelty Free (CCF) Australia logo on its company website.
Posted on the “Our Promise to You” section found under the Our Story page, In Essence reveals that they only get high quality ingredients from trusted sources. They state, “We know not all oils are created equally. That’s why we only source the finest 100% pure essential oils from a global network of farmers and suppliers committed to supplying authentic, unadulterated oils. All of our products are free from anything that’s not good for you including parabens, pesticides, and synthetics. And of course we respect all of nature’s plant and animal species. This means we do not test on animals and all of our products are 100% cruelty free.”
In Essence is found on CCF’s list of brands, making them a certified cruelty free brand. However, the essential oils brand does not mention if it is also vegan. This means that In Essence does not divulge if it contains animal-derived ingredients or by-products.
