Yes, Earthwise is cruelty free.
A trusted New Zealand brand, Earthwise sells a wide range of products from general household (air freshener, laundry, and cleaning) to body care (baby, hair, and bath). It was founded in 1967 by Tom Robinson, who created his first plant-based product in his garden shed. With the goal of limiting environmental impact on waterways and water systems, Earthwise’s products do not contain harsh ingredients such as chlorinated bleach, paraben, phosphate, sodium lauryl sulfate, palm oil, and petrochemicals.
According to their Frequently Asked Questions section, their ingredients and formulations are cruelty free. They state, “Earthwise products are not tested on animals. We source all ingredients ethically, and all briefs [sent] out to our suppliers’ state ingredients that we use must not be tested on animals.” They received their animal-friendly certification from PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies.
