Toy • Game with treat compartments to keep your dog engaged.
Lockdowns mean fewer walks and limited off leash time – if at all. For your dog, this translates as drastically lowered chances for enrichment play such as sniffing, licking and working those puppy grey cells. This is where puzzle toys come to the rescue.
Outward Hound collaborated with Swedish dog trainer Nina Ottosson to create an intermediate-level puzzle brick for dogs to solve. With 20 treat compartments that can hold both dry and wet food, the 12.75 x 9.25-inch plastic puzzle toy will keep a pooch entertained for hours.
Why is it a great toy?
With this versatile puzzle brick dog toy, a dog must flip, slide, and pull off blocks to uncover tasty treats. The level of difficulty can be adjusted by detaching the lids, with four removable bones and eight openable/slidable pieces included. After playing, the reusable puzzle toy can be wiped clean or washed entirely with soap and water, rinsed, and dried.
The toy can also be used as a bonding tool by a dog owner. This can be a unique opportunity for a dog owner to show his pet how to use the puzzle, and supervise his dog’s playtime.

Who is it for?
A pet owner looking for new ways to challenge a dog who is already interested and familiar with simple puzzle toys. Combining one- and two-step play actions, the treat training dog game can help keep bored or anxious dogs occupied—especially when they are left alone in a room. The more covered the compartments are, the more difficult the puzzle will be for the pooch to solve.
