Is The Dirt Company Cruelty Free?

Yes, The Dirt Company is cruelty free.

The Dirt Company is certified as a cruelty free and vegan company by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The Australian brand manufactures laundry concentrates that are packed in reusable dispensers and refillable packs made with at least 30% post-industrial recycled waste. The Dirt Company only uses naturally derived and biodegradable ingredients, making sure not to mix dyes, synthetic fragrances, sulphates, and SLS in their formulations. Aside from laundry detergents, they also sell stain removers.

The Dirt Company only distributes its products within Australia. They state, “We make and sell Dirt in Australia. We do this because we want to support the local community and because shipping products all over the world creates an enormous carbon footprint.” Additionally, they share that they are a vegan brand that does not use animal-derived ingredients and by-products, nor do they test on animals. “We only test on ourselves. We are PETA certified.”

To support this certified cruelty free and vegan brand, buy products from their website. You can also discover other cruelty free brands from our blog
