Is Skout’s Honor Cruelty Free?

Yes, Skout’s Honor is cruelty free.

Skout’s Honor provides pet-owner essentials such as probiotic grooming, itch relief and wellness options, as well as pet stain, pet odour, and sanitising solutions. It was founded in California, USA by a team of pet lovers passionate about leaving a positive mark in the world. Led by Macon Brock, their mission is to “curate the best technologies and create products that greatly improve the experience of living with and loving our pets,” using only dog and cat-safe ingredients that are rapidly biodegradable and eco-friendly.

On their FAQs page, they answer the question, “Are your products ever tested on animals?” Skout’s Honor says, “Never! We never test any of our products on animals and are proud to be a certified cruelty-free company!” The pet essentials brand is certified cruelty-free and vegan by the Beauty Without Bunnies’ global program. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has verified that the brand does not test on animals at any stage, nor do they use animal-derived ingredients. As such, they feature PETA’s “cruelty free and vegan” logo on all their product packaging.
