Is CleanWell Cruelty Free?

Yes, CleanWell is cruelty free.

Using only plant-derived formulas, CleanWell promises to clean and deodorise surfaces through their non-toxic sprays and wipes. Their disinfectants are said to kill over 99.9% of germs such as Influenza A virus, H1N1, Rhinovirus type 37 (common cold), Salmonella enterica, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Methicillin Resistant S. Aureus (MRSA) found on hard, nonporous surfaces.

CleanWell shares its mission and vision on their About Us page. “We’re on a mission to thoughtfully clean up ‘clean,’ with effective, family-, pet-, and planet-friendly products. Our vision? That all people are able to freely embrace life’s not-so-clean moments without compromise so they can Live Free, CleanWell.”

On their FAQ page, they write, “Our products do not contain any animal products or by-products. They are certified cruelty free and vegan by PETA… We do not test on animals, nor do we use ingredients that have been tested on animals. We are certified vegan and cruelty free through PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program.”
