What is it?
Advanced Dog Training is broken down into 10 informative classes: History of Dog Training (learn about the different breeds and their capabilities), Dog Intelligence (discover the tools and structure you need to make your dog obey), Advanced Commands in Detail (such as stop, steady, back up, and give), Off-Lead Training (graduate from using a short walking leash to a long leash, or to ultimately off-lead), Clicker Training, Monks of New Skete Training Theory, Working Dog Training, Dog Sports, Fun Tricks and Games, and Organizations and Clubs.
Who’s behind it?
Cathy Chouinard, who has over 20 years of experience studying and teaching animal training. A passionate animal lover and dog trainer, Chouinard continues to volunteer much of her time in helping raise funds and train guide dogs.
How much does the course cost?
You can gain access to this six-month course for 50 USD, or complete the course and gain a CEU certificate for 75 USD. However, you must earn a final grade of 70% or higher to receive an online/downloadable CEU Certification documenting the 0.7 CEUs you earned.
The Universal Class’ platinum membership grants you access to unlimited classes from over 500 online courses for only 189 USD per year. However, you can only take 5 different courses at a time.
