Is Yuva Skin Care Cruelty Free?

Is Yuva Skin Care Cruelty Free?

The short answer: Yes, Yuva Skin Care is cruelty free.

The long answer: A Sanskrit word for youth, Yuva Skin Care is an Australian-made and owned brand that sells organic face and body care products and mineral-based cosmetics. It is known for making cleansers, serums, foundations, and gels derived from pure ingredients such as plant extracts and essential oils. The brand does not use parabens, mineral oil, propylene glycol, sulfates, artificial colours, and artificial fragrances in their products.

On their information page, Yuva Skin Care shares their three-fold philosophy: “To produce a skin care range that delivers outstanding results for the health and well-being of the skin, mind, and body. To harness the power of nature in an all naturally derived range. To suit all skin’s needs without the use of chemicals and without cruelty to animals.”

Yuva received its cruelty free accreditation from Choose Cruelty Free. But aside from making a stance against product testing on animals, it is also a vegan brand that does not use animal-derived ingredients and byproducts.
