Yes, RosehipPLUS is cruelty free.
RosehipPLUS is an Australian beauty brand that produces potent skin care products using certified organic rosehip oil. Its toxic-free collection is free of palm oil, artificial colours, parabens, sulphates, and petro chemicals. In addition, its products do not contain synthetic preservatives and fragrances. Aside from cold-pressed oils, RosehipPLUS manufactures cleansers and creams.
The brand is proud to have certifications from two organisations. These are the Australian Certified Organic and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). RosehipPLUS discusses the second certification by sharing, “The RosehipPLUS skincare range is PETA endorsed and is not tested on animals. RosehipPLUS products are made with love and care, and do not conduct or commission any animal tests on ingredients, formulations, or our finished products and pledge not to do so in the future. This means they are also vegan.”
PETA’s Global Beauty Without Bunnies Program explains how a company can be certified cruelty free and vegan. They must meet two of the non-profit’s requirements:
“Global animal test-free recognizes companies and brands that have verified that they and their suppliers do not conduct, commission, pay for, or allow any tests on animals for their ingredients, formulations, or finished products anywhere in the world and that they will never do so in the future.
Global animal test-free and vegan recognizes companies and brands that meet the same requirements and whose entire product line is free of animal-derived ingredients. These companies are truly cruelty-free.”
Because RosehipPLUS does not contain ingredients that come from animals and does not test on animals at any stage, it is a truly animal-friendly brand. Learn more about RosehipPLUS products by checking out their official website. You can also discover other cruelty free brands from our blog.
