Yes, Nail HQ is cruelty free.
Established in 2012, Nail HQ is a nail treatment brand created by Soinvogue. Aside from Nail HQ, the UK-based company owns a variety of beauty brands including Brushworks, So Eco, Eye Candy, Invogue, Look Good Feel Better, and Aristocrat.
On their company website, Nail HQ shares that their products are packed with luxurious oils, vitamins, and protein that help its users achieve beautiful and healthy nails. They state that their manicure and pedicure tools, false nails, and lacquers are all developed without harming animals. On their FAQs page, they explain, “All our brands are cruelty free, no animal testing is performed at any stage in our product development or manufacturing process.”
The globally recognised Beauty Without Bunnies program created by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) acknowledges Soinvogue’s claim of being cruelty free. On their website, the beauty company is listed as a “company [that] does not test on animals… All products are vegan.”
In addition, PETA discusses how Nail HQ passes the two qualifications. Their blog states:
“Global animal test-free recognizes companies and brands that have verified that they and their suppliers do not conduct, commission, pay for, or allow any tests on animals for their ingredients, formulations, or finished products anywhere in the world and that they will never do so in the future.
Global animal test-free and vegan recognizes companies and brands that meet the same requirements and whose entire product line is free of animal-derived ingredients. These companies are truly cruelty-free…
To be considered ‘cruelty-free’ under PETA’s Global Beauty Without Bunnies program, a company must not only ban animal tests but also refuse to use any animal-derived ingredients, such as honey, beeswax, or carmine, in its products.”
