Yes, Karma Organic Spa is cruelty free.
Based in New Jersey, USA, Karma Organic Spa sells 100% organic skincare products, non-toxic nail polishes, and soy-based nail polish remover placed in recyclable packaging. The spa owner, Nausil Zaheer, took it upon himself to develop a collection of vibrant-coloured polishes free from the toxic trio: toluene, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate.
A quick search in their online shop reveals that their polishes, removers, essential oils, and cuticle and nail oils are vegan and cruelty free. Not only is the phrase “cruelty free and vegan” mentioned in their descriptions, but the products display the rabbit logo designed by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
Through PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies website, it is revealed that Karma Organic Spa does not test its ingredients, its formulations, and its final products on animals at any stage and anywhere in the world. Nor does it allow its suppliers to conduct tests. As for being a vegan-friendly brand, it has been certified by PETA that it does not use ingredients taken from animals as well as animal by-products. Examples of animal-based raw materials include honey, beeswax, and carmine.
