Is First Light Organics Cruelty Free?

Yes, First Light Organics is cruelty free.

An Australian-made brand, First Light Organics is an all-natural skin care line specially crafted for newborn babies. Their products include essential oil-free items such as Baby Oil, Baby Powder, Baby Moisturiser, and Baby Wash. However, they also have products with essential oils such as Baby Balm and Baby Love Essential Oil blend.

On their website, they display logos of various certifications that state they are “certified organic,” “vegan friendly certified,” “Australian certified toxic-free,” and “cruelty-free certified.” They are included on Choose Cruelty Free’s list of brands that don’t test on animals, and have shared on their FAQs page: “We guarantee that all of our products and raw ingredients have not been tested on animals. The Leaping Bunny certification is the global standard for cosmetics and personal care products. It is the only internationally recognised certification that requires a supplier monitoring system to be implemented and supply chain checking for animal testing right down to ingredient manufacturer level.”

It is important to note that although First Light Organics states they are vegan-friendly certified, they do not mention which organisation verified their claims.
