Is Edible Beauty Australia Cruelty Free?

Is Edible Beauty Australia Cruelty Free?

Yes, Edible Beauty Australia is cruelty free.

Founded by Anna Mitsios in 2014, Edible Beauty is Australia’s first edible skincare range. The brand promises to deliver products that do not contain toxic ingredients such as parabens, sulfates, phthalates, propylene glycol, and petrochemicals. Instead, high quality ingredients are used to target various skin types and concerns.

The brand shares on their Frequently Asked Questions:

“Are your products tested on animals?

We completely believe in the ethical treatment of all animals. Including humans. None of our ingredients or products are tested on animals.

Are your products vegan?

Yes, our entire product line is vegan. We are certified PETA vegan and cruelty free.”

To support this claim, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has included Edible Beauty Australia on their Beauty Without Bunnies list. Aside from PETA, they have posted logos of certifications they received from various groups including the Vegan Society. Manufacturing vegan-certified products means Edible Beauty does not use ingredients and by-products (such as honey, beeswax, or carmine) taken from animals.

Shop on the Edible Beauty website to find cruelty free and vegan options for your skin. You can also discover other cruelty free brands from our blog
