Is Designer Brands Cruelty Free?

Is Designer Brands Cruelty Free?

The short answer: Yes, Designer Brands is cruelty free.

The long answer: Designer Brands is a cosmetic line that was founded by Tony and Sharon Rechtman of Total Beauty Network (TBN). It was launched 15 years ago with the intention of giving Australian shoppers a choice to purchase affordably priced makeup at par with high-end brands.

Distributed mainly in pharmacies, Designer Brands is committed to producing products that are not only safe for people, but are also kind to animals. They share, “Our range is free of nasties such as parabens, talc, and bismuth, which we take great pride in. On top of that, all our products are 100% Certified Vegan and Certified Cruelty Free. They matter to us and always will because we are true to our ethos and values.”

With regards to being cruelty free, they expound by saying, “Our products and their ingredients have never been tested on animals by us, by anyone on our behalf, by our suppliers or anyone on their behalf – guaranteed!” Designer Brands as well as other TBN brands (namely Colour by TBN, Raww Cosmetics, and INIKA Organic) have received cruelty free certifications from Choose Cruelty Free.
