Is REB Cosmetics Cruelty Free?

Is REB Cosmetics Cruelty Free?

The short answer: Yes, REB Cosmetics is cruelty free.

The long answer: REB Cosmetics was borne out of a desire by Ruth Elizabeth Brown to create makeup that would suit her sensitive skin. Starting off with lipstick, her cosmetic line soon expanded to include lip gloss, lip liner, foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, mascara, pencil eyeliner, eye shadow, and accessories.

Developed and distributed from South Australia, this mineral-based makeup brand is 100% vegan (it does not contain animal ingredients or animal byproducts) and cruelty free. Brown writes, “We are proud to state that none of our products are tested on animals. We are proudly accredited with Choose Cruelty Free. REB Cosmetics products are developed without the use of animal testing and with true care and respect of our environment. REB Cosmetics will not conduct or commission any animal tests on any products or ingredients at any time during or after development or launch of the product. Nor do we condone such testing. We are proud supporters of the Animal Welfare League of South Australia.”
