Is LaNatura Cruelty Free?

Yes, LaNatura is cruelty free.

Powered by plants since 1987, LaNatura Botanicals manufactures sustainably sourced organic face, skin, hair, hand, and body care products from Los Angeles, USA. The active superfood ingredients contained in their collection are meant to counterbalance aging effects caused by environmental toxins and free radicals.

On their brand story page, LaNatura states its commitment to be kind not just to human beings but also to animals and the environment. They share:

“BE BETTER TO EVERY BODY.

We strive to create safe, allergen-free formulas so they can be enjoyed by everyone. All of our skin and body care products are vegan, gluten-free and free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances and dyes. We also offer a non-toxic pet wash and itch relief spray for four-legged friends to enjoy.

BE BETTER TO ANIMALS.

Animals are to love and be loved. We do not condone the inhumane treatment of animals and we never engage in animal testing for our products and ingredients. LaNatura skin care is entirely cruelty-free, vegan and formulated without animal ingredients.

BE BETTER TO THE ENVIRONMENT.

Our skin care is exclusively manufactured in-house at our facility in Los Angeles. This gives us complete oversight as our products are made in small batches daily to ensure optimal quality and to reduce waste. We source our ingredients from the USA as much as possible and work with local, environmentally responsible businesses to produce eco-friendly packaging and labels. We use PET packaging and source labels from a 100% wind & solar power manufacturer.”

Founded by Sabina Chaz, LaNatura is a cruelty-free and vegan company that has been certified by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) under their Beauty Without Bunnies campaign. As such, LaNatura features PETA’s “cruelty free and vegan” logo on their packaging. This makes it easy for consumers to know that their ingredients, formulations, and products are never tested on animals at any stage, nor do they contain animal-derived materials.
