Is Citra Solv Cruelty Free?

Yes, Citra Solv is cruelty free.

Citra Solv is an independently owned company founded by Steve and Melissa Zeitler 30 years ago. Back then, the couple wanted to come up with an environmentally safe natural household cleaner that could be sold commercially. From creating their popular Citra Solv cleaner, they’ve expanded their business to sell Home Solv (household cleaning products) and Air Scense (air fresheners and toilet pre-sprays).

On Citra Solv’s About Us page, they share a list of their beliefs. With regards to their stance on testing on animals, they write, “All of God’s creatures should be protected. That’s why we support groups like PETA and Leaping Bunny.” Aside from not testing on animals, Citra Solv is listed as a company that sells vegan products by Beauty Without Bunnies. It is also USDA certified as biobased, which means it “is composed, in whole or significant part, of biological products or renewable domestic agricultural products.”

Support this certified cruelty free, vegan brand by visiting their website and finding out where they are stocked or sold online. You can also discover other cruelty free brands from our blog
