Yes, Arctic Fox Hair Color is cruelty free.
Arctic Fox (AF) Hair Color manufactures products for do-it-yourself hair colouring, hair bleaching, and hair care. It began in 2013, when its founders were searching for semi-permanent hair colour using all-natural ingredients. Revealing how they started on their AF Story page, AF shares they had a soft spot for animals from the beginning. “[The research team was] committed to only producing vegan and cruelty-free products, and to make self-love, self-expression, and giving back to animals the forefront of their mission.”
In addition to producing cruelty free and vegan hair products, the American brand also supports animal-related causes. AF states, “15% of Arctic Fox profits are donated to charities that help prevent animal cruelty. In 2020, we ramped up our efforts by going global and increasing donations from online sales from 25% to even 100% during special charity events. The AF Team visits organizations in person as well to contribute supplies and spend quality time with the animals in rehabilitation.”
The Leaping Bunny certifies that AF is a cruelty free brand. Similarly, the global Beauty Without Bunnies program by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) certifies AF as a cruelty free and vegan hair care brand. AF even uses PETA’s logo on its packaging since the brand meets two important conditions set by the organisation. PETA explains the qualifications on their blog:
